The YU7 is the SUV counterpart to the SU7, and the exterior hardware shows where the two diverge: taller closures, a different mirror package, a roof spoiler and a grille with active louvres. This list collects the YU7 body stock on hand.

What the YU7 exterior set contains

Closures come first. Door guard plates, handle assemblies and door latches appear as separate items, which is useful because the latch and the handle are the two parts that decide how a flush handle behaves after a few years. Door sealing strips and the front cover fill out the front end, along with a louvred main air intake grille and its gantry frame - the assembly that manages airflow into the cooling pack when the vehicle is moving. At the back there is a rear bumper air deflector, rear bumper trim and a roof spoiler that suits the SUV roofline. Mirrors are covered in detail: a complete assembly, a replacement lens in original high-spec form, and the outer triangular trim plate that usually breaks before the mirror does.

Parts list 14 items

Closure and trim items are photographed showing dents, scratches or paint defects where they exist. Mirror glass and trim plates are packed separately to avoid damage in transit.

Benchmarking YU7 against a sedan platform

Comparing this set against the SU7 equivalent answers a specific question: what an SUV conversion costs in structure. Look at the door shell construction - number of stamped pieces, presence of a separate reinforcement beam - and at how the mirror is mounted, since a taller vehicle needs more glass area and a different arm. The active grille with its louvre frame is the most interesting single part: the number of louvre blades, the actuator type and the sealing arrangement around the frame all speak to how seriously airflow management was taken. The rear deflector and roof spoiler are worth measuring for how much of the drag reduction is credited to geometry rather than to ride height.
