Wheel and tire choices separate the versions of a car more visibly than almost anything else, and they are also the parts buyers replace first. This list covers the SU7 wheel stock on hand, including factory wheel sets across several designs and sizes, a set of original Bridgestone tires, and the small wheel hardware.

What the wheel set contains

Four factory wheel families are represented: the low-drag wheels built for efficiency, the blade-style wheels that appear on the launch cars, the Mi-series hubs and the 20-inch plum blossom wheels, with 21-inch tree-branch rims among the largest listed. Condition runs from nearly new salvage to used sets, and each listing states which. A complete set of four Bridgestone tires in 245/45 R19 is listed separately, which makes it possible to compare rolling resistance and sidewall construction against the wheels. Wheel decorations and hub covers fill in the details that are otherwise lost from a set.

Parts list 8 items

Wheels are described by diameter, design and finish. Tires are listed with size and remaining tread where known. Cosmetic kerb damage is noted per item.

What to compare on wheels

The most useful reading is weight and construction. Forged versus cast or flow-formed is visible from the back face of the rim, and the spoke count, the rim well profile and the mounting pad thickness all follow from how much stiffness the design was asked to provide. Diameter changes matter to more than looks: larger rims force a lower-profile tire and change unsprung mass, brake clearance and ride compliance. Where a set is available in two designs from the same car, comparing them side by side is the cleanest way to see what the efficiency-optimised version gives up.
